anywhosers, hi again, its thursday! thursday = the new friday, so obviously i am happy and stoked! classes are going swell, and a lot of them really interest me now! i especially dig journalism, and environmental health. we're learning all these ways you can contract foodborne illnesses and such, and it is wicked. apparently over 25% of Asian-Americans have a tapeworm in their digestive system, and there was this one tapeworm that grew so long that it couldn't fit in all 20 feet of this guy's GI tract that it started growing out of his mouth and just slithered out one day and ended up living in his bathtub, and him keeping it as a pet! i have no idea why there would be just standing water in that bath tub but hey it makes for a good story! BUT anyways, it feels good to wake up and plan out your day with classes and studying and clubs and all the shebang, ain't it? well aside from all the evil stress that is, its nice hahah.
nothing really new of note, whenever someone asks me, what's up? i never know what to say except, "oh, you know, school" i wish i were more interesting. oh speaking of interesting, well i guess this is more embarrassing than anything, is the fact that i keep hurting people but then somehow end up becoming friends with them! like this morning, i was racing downstairs because i was late for chem and i pretty much body slammed this guy going upstairs. that was not fun but hey he was nice about it and anybody whose nice enough after an incident like that is someone i want to meet! so i talked to him and his name's raphael, which is what i want to name my 5th son if i ever get one! is that a co-wink-ee-dink or WHAT?! and then there's the girl i met first week who i spilled smoothie all over, and now we always get smoothies on wednesdays. funny how things work out sometimes, you never know how you're going to get to meet people!
on that note, though, i'm getting kind of annoyed introducing myself to people. of course it's nice to get to know them but sometimes i try and i just totally get an arctic shoulder! like for example, yesterday, i said, "hi my name's marvin" and this guy said, in a petulant voice i might add "uhh what?". and i said "hi my name's marvin, what's yours?" and he said "oh okay." hm. maybe he didn't hear me, but that's not the first time something like that has occurred. well i'm still going to try, because, well what's that saying? you've got to pick all the fruits, even if some of them are rotten! that's not a saying, because i just made that up. well not to say that he's rotten, just that, hm, maybe he's one of those fruits that you don't like at first, but he eventually becomes an acquired taste! like avocado! yes! he's an avocado! eventually i hope to make tasty guacamole out of him and dip nachos of friendship in it! :) here's hoping!

ReplyDeleteThat sucks about the cold shoulder shindig, but it's cool how you made friends by hurtin em , haha! Dude, avacado is so good! It tastes like tuna sushi if you put it in soysauce, no joke. Try it! Also, I don't understand why Thursday is your new Friday. Do you not have classes on Fridays or something? and how many kids you planning on having?! 5th?! Holy shmucks!
