so trying to add myself to admin was a hassle

ive been pretty much working

ive been getting shifts for the hot apps station

so im actually in front of a stove and stuff

grueling stuff

im wanting to change jobs though

gonna stick it out till the end of this year

ill just wait and see how things go and how i feel till that time comes

ive been thinking of going into a hotel though

try and switch things up

from a small business restaurant to a more corporate setting

we were supposed to move again this year

were not

lol

i knew we werent

because thats just how things go

i was actually excited about moving

but thats what happens when you get your hopes up

your hopes gets thrown onto the ground and stepped on

i have to work halloween

yay

i worked last year and it was dead

easy money but boring

lets go travel next summer lol

i just want to get away from the everyday norm and go someplace

if you guys are planning to go anywhere overseas

Hi, it's me, Jazmine, hello!

Hi friends!

I'm supposed to be completing, or starting, my copious amount of school work but forget about it!

So to update you guys on stuff: I'm taking 3 mgmt classes. A management science one where I learn to make good decisions through optimization and other garbage, a organizational behavior one that's actually highly interesting because we learn about social behavior in the workplace and how to be the better you and how to treat people better, and a business communication class that highly sucks but is highly easy so I'll take it, I guess... We're learning how to write thank you letters and emails professionally, or something. Last week, we had Nordstrom representatives come in to tell us what we should wear in professional settings because you know, communication isn't just about words, it's about visuals and nonverbal communication. We learned how to shake hands correctly on the first day of class. It's surprising to me how I've been doing all this stuff perfectly from the start. I guess I was born a professional. Anyway.

Shuttle driving is fun because I like the monotony of driving and listening to music, and saying "you're welcome" to people who thank me, and smiling at them and helping lost people find their way. What I don't like is the lack of variety but there's only so much you can do when you drive a bus. Morning shifts are really tiring me out though but it ain't no thang.

OCC is cool and fun. My graphics class is awesome because it is, and the teacher is also awesome. My sound class was interesting, and then less interesting, and then boring and more boring, and monotonous, and interesting again! The problem with that class is that we don't get enough hands-on stuff to do with recording. We set up mics a whole lot. We can't all fit into the studio room so it's hard to learn things so a lot of us are getting annoyed that we're not learning jack. Lately though, my teacher has been assigning me to set up things more, over the other girls, which rules. I rather be doing stuff and learning instead of standing and watching. I made 2 cool chick friends in the class. I like them.

I haven't been getting a ton of sleep or had time to just be a giant bed slob but that just means I'm doing things instead of not... haha okay, that's it I guess. Bye guys.

And, living with Gloria has been really fun. It's like a never-ending fun sleepover and we're gonna paint a giant octopus on the wall.

fall semester!

hey everybody!

woohoo im glad this is being revived after a year. so short updates, im studying for a physics midterm tomorrow, so going a little insane over that, but otherwise things here are good and busy busy biz. it's so nice that it's fall right now, perfect breezy weather and crunchy leaves strewn about and all!

this semester i'm going a little mad heavy on the sciences, its tough but i'm diggin it! :) i'm taking physics, biochemistry, organic chemistry, ethnobotany and forest ecology. the forest ecology class in particular is quite scintillating. next weekend we are going to point reyes national seashore to conduct a demographic study on these special elk species over there. pretty wicked stuff, i think i am going to minor in forestry haha.

i can't believe that we're already in our 3rd years of college...do you guys all know what you want to be yet??? i'm feeling like it's about time to figure that out -__- so stressful! haha anywhos i hope everyone is enjoying school and the pleasures that it brings. thanks for keeping in touch you guys, see you this thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

i'm taking audio production and video production, which is kind of cool. in video, we get to do some production and work with some equipment in the studioooooo. in audio, we're fiddling with pro tools. both classes are neat. and i'm also taking a news in broadcasting class and writing for electronic media.

and a philosophy class on the side for my BRAIN.

anyway, i haven't been up to much in SF................................................................
